Henry "Bill" Johnson, 81 of Pomeroy passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2010 at the Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis. He was born on August 15, 1928, in Beards Fork, WV, son of the late Troy and Lavada Johnson. He was raised in Gallagher, WV. He retired from the U. S. Air Force after serving 22 years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded by: Wife: Diane; Sisters: Margaret Giles, Dorothy Ellis; Brother: Dickie Johnson.

He is survived by: Sisters: Ruby Marshall of Pomeroy and with whom he made his home; Frances Melvin, Milford, Michigan; Judy (Richard) Kaercher, Elkhart, Indiana; Brothers: Larry Johnson, Pomeroy; Jack (Dolores) Johnson, Gallagher, WV; J.C. (Roberta) Johnson, Alex, VA; Several Nieces and Nephews; Many Friends.

The family will have a private memorial service.
