   Elsie Marie Folmer, 72, of Middleport, Ohio passed away on March 5, 2010 at Rocksprings Rehabilitation Center.  She was born on October 5, 1937 in Middleport daughter of Gertrude Edwards of Middleport and the late Pearl P. Edwards. She was an active member of her community.  She was a member of the Hysell Run Community Church, the Chester Fire Department Ladies Auxillary and the Chester Courthouse Historical Association.
   She is survived by her: mother, Gertrude Edwards of Middleport; daughter, Cheryl Browning of Middleport; brothers and sisters, Pearl "Buddy" (Linda) Edwards of Long Bottom, OH, Margaret "June" (Frederick) Thomas of Cheshire, OH, Ralph (Joan) Edwards of Gallipolis, OH and Joseph "Joe" (Betty) Edwards of Cheshire, OH; several nieces and nephews; grand dogs, Lexie and Chance.
   In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her husband James Edison Folmer.  
   Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at 11am at the Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy with Pastor Larry Lemley officiating.  Burial will follow at Meigs Memory Gardens.  Visiting hours will be on Monday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the funeral home.  An online registry is available by visiting www.andersonmcdaniel.com.
