Charles Ross Mash III

   Charles Ross Mash III retired Minister, died peacefully at his home on Sunday March 25, 2018.  He was born on May 27, 1951 in Columbus, Ohio son of Ann Lee Mash and the late Charles Ross Mash II.
   On March 24th, he had one of his best days, able to perform the marriage of his son, Chuck to Stephanie and serving communion to all among them including his mother Ann Mash and his brother Bob Mash who survive.
   He graduated from Eastland Career Center, Ohio University and Duke Seminary.  In 1994, he heard God's call into the ministry and along with his wife Susan, he served at Reedsville, Cheshire charge and Portsmouth Manly and Valley United Methodist Churches.
   After returning to Meigs County, he served as Deacon at Bethel Worship Center until his death.
   He was a loving husband to Susan Dixon Mash as well as a loving father to Melyla, Leigh, Bert (April), Chuck (Stephanie), Sharline (Pat) Johnson, Lisa Graham and Scott Pullins.
   He was blessed to be the grandfather to 25 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.  He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; his brother-in-law, Wayne Pullins and lots of friends.
   He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Ross "Jr." Mash II and his sisters, Judy Mash and Susan Pullins.
   In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Mid Valley Christian School, 500 North 2nd Avenue, Middleport, OH  45760 for a schalarship for his youngest daughter, Melyla.
   Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 30, 2018 at 1:00pm with Pastor Rob Barber officiating at Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy.  Burial will follow at Rocksprings Cemetery.  Visiting hours will be on Thursday from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and on Friday from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the funeral home.
