Harry H. Cleland, 75, of Racine, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2021 at Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis, OH.  Born May 1st, 1946, he was the son of the late Dallas B. and Geraldine Roush Cleland.  He was in the Marine Reserves and a retired Columbus City Police Officer.  In his 40's, Harry received a second chance at life when he received a new heart through organ donation at the Ohio State University Medical Center. He was an avid fisherman and a former deacon of Racine Baptist Church.
Harry is survived by his sister, Alice (Chuck) Williams, sister - in law, Ms. Viola Cleland step - son Ted (Erin) Conn of Baltimore, Ohio, grandchildren, Cherish Stevens, Elizabeth Conn, and Jackson Conn. Nieces and nephews, Rebecca (Anthony) Bradford, Michael (Janine) Gheen, Danny (Randi) Gheen, Timmy (Brey) Gheen, Charlie (Heather) Cleland, Andrea (Rich) Seidt, Holly Cleland, Shannon Williams, Corey (Sherry) Williams, Adam (Sheena) Williams, Tiffany (Jesse) Williams, and many great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Harry was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Cleland, and his sister, Barbara Cleland Gheen.
Friends may call at Anderson - McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy, Ohio on Saturday September 25, 2021 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm with funeral and graveside services to follow.
